Hero — 16:9
The Problem
A breakthrough technology that sounds like a math paper.
Brief
- One cinematic film for social and exhibition
- Establish 3DGS authority ahead of competitors
Audience
- Agents and retailers who don't speak neural radiance
- Low awareness that the feature existed at all
Constraint
- A single production serving two contexts
- The exhibition loop has to work with no audio
My Role
I directed it end to end — from understanding the technology to the final cut.
Owned
- Concept & script
- Visual direction
- Use-case storytelling
- Dual-format edit
Collaborated with
- Engineering — technology depth
- Sales team — use cases
Key Decisions
Lead with the wonder, explain second.
01
Decision 01 — Content Strategy
Cinematic, not tutorial
Open on the wonder of a space coming alive and explain afterwards. The business need was top-of-funnel awareness rather than instruction — and a buried feature became the exhibition centrepiece.

Decision 02 — Narrative
Outcome first, workflow after
The film opens on a finished 3DGS capture, then reveals it was shot on a phone. The gap between expected complexity and actual simplicity is the entire story — a "that's all it takes?" moment no walkthrough could match.
03
Decision 03 — Production
Two formats, one shoot
A tight social cut with text overlays and a slow, silent exhibition loop, designed together from the start. Both delivered inside the four-week window.
